A fan shared how Dota 2 looked during its beta test more than 12 years ago. Photos

One of the beta testers of Dota 2 shared screenshots of the game from over 12 years ago, before it achieved worldwide success.

A user with the nickname AccomplishedYogurt96 posted two images from the Dota 2 beta test ar Reddit.

The player mentioned that they managed to recover their tester account and found these rare screenshots in a folder. As seen in the images, the interface of the MOBA was drastically different back then, as was the game's graphics, which have significantly improved since.

Many noted that some aspects of the old game were better. Players especially liked the day and night timer, which was more practical. However, many elements of the game have remained unchanged, particularly the appearance of items.

It’s worth noting that the biggest Dota 2 fan has already played 37,000 matches but still remains at the Recruit rank.
