The Dota 2 streamer Jean "Gorgc" Stefanovski believes that the prize pool for Riyadh Masters this year may be about $10 million, less than last year’s.
Uploaded on YouTube channel Ez Dotes was a clip made from his streaming moment where he discussed Esport World Cup prize pool.
“I believe the Dota 2 is going to have a less prize this year. Maybe around 10 million Dollars, sort of like that but I am not sure and I can’t say for sure, we will all see soon”
It is worth noting that the overall prize fund of the championship will be amounting to $60 million and will be shared among participants in 19 e-sports disciplines. Consequently, it will not achieve the expected record-breaking prize pool for Dota 2, which is estimated at over $50 million dollars. It is possible that this time’s prizes might actually be lower than those of Riyadh Masters 2023 which had a prize pool value of $15million.

For example, reports emerged earlier that there won’t be a record-breaking reward chest for Riyadh Masters 2024 which are part of Esports World Cup. The event has more than sixty prizes but only a fraction of these goes to players in Dota two sports.
