Zorte Commented on the Triumphant Victory Over Team Spirit

Alexander “zorte” Zagodyrenko said he felt fairly calm for most of the match against Team Spirit at PGL Masters Bucharest.

The player made this statement on Telegram.

- Tell us about the match, your emotions, and how much your mood fluctuated.

– To be honest, my state of mind was more or less stable. Only during moments—in rounds—where we really messed up badly, only then did it get to me, but there wasn’t a sense that the game was slipping away or anything like that; we just played normally.

- How nerve-wracking was it to take the last map to overtime?

– I wasn’t nervous at all about the Thunderpick World Championship. I think we’ve played too many matches. There were close ones there, too—tough games. So I was kind of… Well, I just didn’t care about it at all.

- What were your final emotions after winning that clutch?

– The emotions were intense. My legs were shaking, my hands were shaking. In moments like that, you really think that playing CS wasn’t for nothing. Just awesome emotions. It’s hard to compare them to anything in everyday life. For people who don’t play video games, it’s probably like skydiving or something like that. Something fleeting.

According to Alexander “zorte” Zagodyrenko, the BetBoom Team players performed well during the match, but made mistakes at certain points, which caused the esports player to feel negative emotions. Zorte also admitted that he felt intense emotions after winning a clutch, but before the final map, he felt absolutely no anxiety following the team’s performance at the Thunderpick World Championship.

As a reminder, Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov previously identified the main reason for BetBoom Team’s losses.
