Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, the
Gaimin Gladiators midlaner, has stated that
Tundra Esports is in a slump right now, and it shows in their matches at PGL Wallachia Season 5. The reason, in his opinion, could be fatigue - after all, the team dominated the Dota 2 pro scene at the beginning of the year.
The cyber athlete revealed this during a post-match interview on Twitch.
"I think we've gotten better and better throughout the year, but they haven't. To be honest, I think they're in decline. They've looked pretty inconsistent at this tournament. When you dominate early in the year, it's hard to sustain that, so they've been dropping off a little bit"
Quinn noted that while the
Gaimin Gladiators are getting stronger as the season progresses,
Tundra Esports has the opposite situation. In his opinion, the rivals are really going through a slump due to the fact that they put out a lot of work at the beginning of the season and then dominated the rest of the teams. According to the cybersportsman, such a form is difficult to hold for a long time, and therefore it is not surprising that they gave up positions.
Recall that earlier Quinn called
Tundra Esports trash after defeating them.
