As stated by Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, the captain of
Gaimin Gladiators, the team’s unfortunate dip in their performance results from the current meta not accommodating the players within the roster.
This shocking comment was given during an interview with FISSURE PLAYGROUND 1.
“The meta isn’t the best for us. Quinn’s heroes some of have been nerfed. It’s pretty sad.I’m also sad – I’d love to play Io and Leshrac again, but it’s not viable right now. I mean, it’s fine to play Chen and Enchantress but I don’t enjoy them so much since my teammates want as many stuns as possible. I win every pub game with them, but I don’t like playing them – it’s really tough”
Seleri explained that many heroes in their pool are toned down, which is affecting Quinn “Quinn” Callahan the most, who is out of luck with the current meta.
Seleri took responsibility for stating that he indeed has a few picks that are easy for him to handle in pub games, but accepted that this covers game so to speak, it is nearly impossible to do in a professional setting. With that the player almost disregarded fans’ feedback that the team’s lose streak is related to the absence of Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov in the lineup.
As a recall, Dyrachyo some time ago disclosed the real explanation to the fans of why he was left out of
Gaimin Gladiators.
