Insider: Organizers May Cancel the PGL Astana 2027 Tournament

The PGL Astana CS2 tournament may not take place in 2027.

This was reported by streamer Ivan “StRoGo” Shurpatov.

The information was later confirmed by the content creator’s colleague, Alexey “PCH3LK1N” Pchelkina. However, he also clarified that PGL’s largest Tier 1 event could still take place in another city in Kazakhstan, such as Almaty.

It’s worth noting that there has been no official announcement from PGL regarding the upcoming event at this time. The reason for the cancellation or rescheduling of the tournament—should the streamers’ information be confirmed—is also unknown.
