Danil “donk” Kryshkovets stated that opponents quickly adapt to the strategies of a team that begins to dominate the pro scene.
The
Team Spirit player shared his thoughts on Telegram.
“When you dominate a series of tournaments, teams start watching your demos a lot, preparing, and copying certain things. And that’s why it becomes easier for people to play against you. You have to rework your gameplay and your rounds again so that opponents don’t figure out how to play against you.
When you’re a top-10 team, you realize there are nine teams stronger than you. When you’re in the top three, you realize: you’re either on par with or just slightly behind the other two.”
According to Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, it becomes easier for opponents to play against a successful team as they come to understand its gameplay, which is why the favorites constantly have to change their playing style. The esports player believes that there is constant fierce competition among the best teams on the pro scene, as each one strives to outperform its main rivals.
As a reminder, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets previously criticized Valve’s decision regarding the BC.Game roster.
