Anton 'Dyrachyo' Shkredov has explained that his removal from Gaimin Gladiators was not due to his performance, but tensions with the other players.

He made the statement while giving an interview to Cybersport.

“There were conflicts: I had issues, and so did they. Their concerns also needed to be addressed. There was always something wrong. For example, I didn't like that Ace didn't play pubs. They didn't like how I did things. After a whole year of losses or, let’s say, not quite wins, fatigue probably built up. There’s probably no point in gabbing all the personal stuff people just stopped believing, but there were a lot of factors”

Dyrachyo claims that the case of other core members was different, there were indeed conflicts among the players. He referred to the grievances he had about Marcus “Ace” Helgarrd, for example, from not playing pubs that apparently annoyed him as the Gaimin Gladiators carry. He also accepted that he got criticism from the team for some of his actions. He supposited that the roster was indeed overworked and lost faith in their abilities, which resulted in a kick.

Dyrachyo has also said that the team was not fully content with the results of the season. Even after winning Riyadh Masters 2024, taking second place at TI13 and doing well in other competitions, the team regarded these achievements as losses. This is all what led to changes in the roster, explained Dyrachyo moving forward.

As a reminder, previously Dyrachyo surprised the fans with details of how he was kicked from Gaimin Gladiators, claiming the team was not ready to let him go from the organization just yet.
