The new
Tundra Esports carry, Anton ‘Dyrachyo’ Shkredov, confessed that he was not released from
Gaimin Gladiators immediately despite having been kicked off the primary Dota 2 roster.
The barefaced confession was made in an interview with Cybersport, a publication dedicated to esports.
“Some of the guys called me to talk and said, 'This and that.' I said, 'No problem.' I asked about the contract since it was signed for two years. They told me, 'Yes, you're free, you can look for a new team.' Then it turned out that I wasn't fully free, and everything got really strange"
According to him, he did not receive the news with much surprise and revealed the strange occurrences that surrounded the kick with much ease. Dyrachyo revealed that he was first allowed to search for a new team regardless of the contract but later found out that he was not able to move freely to a different team.
The esports player was baffled because those were not the events he was expecting and conjectured that some form of misunderstanding took place. He even admitted that not everything within the team was alright and it did lead to him being kicked off the roster.
It’s worth remembering that Dyrachyo’s response to the exploits committed by
Team Spirit and
Tundra Esports was rather surprising as well.
