Fishman named the estimated size of prize pool at The International

Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk believes that the prize pool of The International 2024 tournament will be no less than 5 million US dollars, as the organizers of Riyadh Masters offered to play the corresponding amount. The cybersportsman expects that the prize money at TI13 will not be less than this value.

The Entity captain made the corresponding statement in an exclusive podcast on the PARI Esports Telegram channel.

"I think there will be over $5 million dollars in prize money at The International this year. We'll see what Valve comes up with.

Last year at the Riyadh Masters it was $15 million, I think this year it's $5 million. The Riyadh Masters is still a big tournament that everyone looks forward to. There used to be one TI and now there are two, more Riyadh Masters. It's very cool to have it."

The cybersportsman also compared the scale of the Riyadh Masters and The International tournaments. Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk believes that at this point it is too early to make final conclusions, as much depends on the size of the prize money. Nevertheless, the Entity captain considers TI13 to be a bigger tournament if the organizers do not cut the prize pool.
