Dyrachyo shocked fans with an unexpected statement about Watson

Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov surprised fans with an honest take on Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov, calling him a tier-1 carry and explaining that he was simply unlucky to join Gaimin Gladiators during the team’s decline.

The unexpected statement was made during his Twitch stream.

“I think he’s kind of inconsistent tier... I’d say Watson is tier-1. He’s pretty skilled. He got lucky to join Gaimin Gladiators, but at the same time — super unlucky. He ended up in a rough spot because the guys were losing hard. I think he knows how to play. But it’s too early to say Watson is Yatoro”

Dyrachyo emphasized that Watson really has great skill and performs well, but was unfortunate with his team. According to him, Watson joined GG at the wrong moment, right when the roster started struggling.

Although Dyrachyo called Watson a strong player, he noted that he still hasn’t reached the level of the top-tier carries on the Dota 2 pro scene.
