Stanislav “Malr1ne” PotoraK, the midlaner of
Team Falcons, has received a lifetime VAC ban in Dota 2 and can no longer play matchmaking.
The esports player announced this himself on his Telegram channel.
“Guys, it’s gg. I don’t know what we’re going to do about this”
He doesn’t know exactly what happened, but according to him, the ban was issued by Valve for allegedly using third-party software. It’s likely a mistake, and the player plans to file an appeal. However, Syed “SumaiL” Hassan’s appeals didn’t help — Valve never lifted the VAC ban from his account.

Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf later trolled the player, joking that he had won The International 2025 using cheats.
“Look, a cheater, a smurf. Damn cheater. You’ve been cheating all this time. Won TI with cheats. Today we exposed him”
It remains unknown how this situation will affect the player’s participation in Dota 2 tournaments or whether Valve will lift the ban from his account.
