Players accidentally discovered a way to switch teams in the middle of a match thanks to a new bug in Dota 2. As a result, one team ended up with 6 players while the other had only four.
One player shared this unusual experience on Reddit and posted a video showing the aftermath of the bug.
On the 31st minute of the game, one of his teammates playing as Radiant on
Juggernaut used their ultimate ability on an enemy
Ogre Magi who had Mirror Shield active at the time. This caused Juggernaut to switch to the Dire side, forcing the players to finish the match with a 4 vs 6 lineup.
In the footage,
Juggernaut can be seen attempting to damage the enemy base and other heroes, but it was ineffective as he was considered an ally. Valve has not yet commented on the situation, but it's likely that many players may try to replicate this bug, prompting a hotfix from the developers soon.
It's worth noting that earlier in Dota 2, widespread disconnects occurred after a new game update that introduced a model for the Rapier and other gameplay fixes.
