Dota 2 fans believe that Valve’s decision to add MMR Doubledown Tokens was a mistake, which led to problems in matchmaking and MMR inflation.

This discussion started on Reddit, where developers are being urged to reconsider their decision.

Players note that after the introduction of the tokens, MMR inflation has reached a shocking level. Even many esports players mention that it is now nearly impossible to enter the top 100 due to the massive amount of MMR overflow and token-related schemes.

The developers are being asked to remove this item from the game to stabilize matchmaking and MMR progression in Dota 2.

As a reminder, earlier Alexander "Nix" Levin stated that Valve made a huge profit from MMR inflation in Dota 2.
