Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov stated that the team would have brought in Alan “Satanic” Gallamov to replace Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk if the carry had decided to take a break after TI15.
The
Team Spirit manager made this statement on Twitch.
“Well, Yatoro didn’t seem to be planning to leave in the first place. But if he had left… He definitely wasn’t planning to. Well, we would have replaced him with Alan, of course.”
According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, if Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk had taken a break, that option would have been possible, since Alan “Satanic” Galliamov was under contract with
Team Spirit at the time. Nevertheless, the team knew from the start that Yatoro planned to remain on the roster after TI15.
As a reminder, Alexander “rue” Filin previously shared how he joined
Team Spirit’s Dota 2 roster.
