Dota 2 heroes may receive new facets: data miners have already discovered them

Dataminers have discovered a whole range of unused facets for heroes in Dota 2, which could potentially be added to the game.

They shared their findings on Stepan's Dota Telegram channel.

In total, about 48 facets were found, still present in the Dota 2 files. It's likely that Valve discarded them because they are not yet balanced and could disrupt the game's balance. Notably, some heroes were initially planned to have more than three aspects, but some ideas were abandoned in patch 7.36.

It is possible that these abilities will be refined and made available in the next major update. However, Valve has not made any announcements about this yet.

It should be noted that the best facets for heroes have been chosen, which are ideal for matchmaking performances in Dota 2.
