The new Battle Pass in Dota 2 may be introduced to the game along with the release of the Crownfall update. This speculation arises from the early announcement of The International 2024 by Valve.

This statement was made by Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, a streamer and former professional esports player, on his Telegram channel.

"The announcement of TI is quite early if you think about it. I wonder why? Perhaps it's because the famous (long-awaited, irresistible, witty, incredible) event Crownfall is not just an event but also a BATTLE PASS (or some analogue, who knows). It wouldn't be right to release it without a preliminary announcement of TI. Well, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. We'll see"

NS emphasized that the announcement of the world championship came out quite early this year. He also suggested that the indirect evidence of the Battle Pass's arrival is the fact that the TI13 announcements will accompany the update. However, he noted that these are currently just speculations, and the format of the Battle Pass is still unknown. It's possible that it could be a variation of the Compendium.

It's worth noting that Valve has also announced changes to the rules of The International 2024, which will significantly differ from the world championship held last year.
