Luca ‘Lukawa’ Nasuashvili is sceptical about the list of announced talent for the Elite League Season 2 tournament, saying that the organisers should have given preference to professional players who are not involved in the tournament.
The
BetBoom Team manager expressed the relevant opinion in a comment for subscribers of his personal Telegram channel.
‘Here I look at the announcements of talent studios and questions arise. Who is involved in the selection of talent?
Where are the pro players who are on the doldrums? Where are some of the young players who are without teams? Is anyone even talking to them?
I could just roll out a list of people who would look great in the frame, and also be good at Dota at the top 500 ladder level. Well, yes, the guys wouldn't be able to speak properly at the first event, but that's the point, when you have a person developing in the frame, not degrading.
It's strange, in short, to watch all this, and it's not very funny, because the prank is dragging on.’
BetBoom Team is not participating in the Elite League Season 2 tournament. The team will also miss the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational in China. However, earlier Luca ‘Lukawa’ Nasuashvili reported that the team will play at one more major tournament before travelling to The International 2024, but kept the name of the upcoming event a secret.
Earlier, Anatoly ‘Boolk’ Ivanov, the team's coach, admitted that he let the team down at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 Grand Final, which caused him to need time to recover.
