Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin stated that the qualifications for DreamLeague Season 24 were quite easy for the
BandaNoone squad. The player said that he was pleased to play with new teammates, and the team will continue to improve the level of play.
The player shared the corresponding comment in his personal Telegram channel.
“Passed vigorously with the CIS quals, returned to the home region with a new squad. It's great to play with the guys, we will continue to improve our game.
Watch and cheer.”
BandaNoone won the first of the two slots allocated to the region. The team defeated the lineups of
Team Spirit,
L1ga Team and
Virtus.pro in the top set, losing only one map in the first match. The
BandaNoone roster, led by Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko, was formed after the previous
Cloud9 roster was disbanded to be signed by the organization. Nevertheless, the signing of the formed roster by the cybersports club failed, because of which the team registered for qualification under its own tag.
Earlier, Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov stated that
Cloud9 are still considering the possibility of signing the assembled roster.
