The new
Cloud9 roster allegedly has not disbanded and will indeed be signed, though it is still unclear when exactly this will happen.
This information was shared by Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov on his Telegram channel.
"There's news about what happened with Cloud9. The story is amusing. In short, all the versions about player conflicts are complete nonsense. We are supposed to see this exact five-man roster; the question is when"
According to him, the insider information suggesting that the signing fell through due to conflicts among the players is not true. Maelstorm asserts that the new roster will indeed be signed, but it remains unknown when that will occur.
The Dota 2 commentator did not disclose what exactly happened, as the team withdrew from the qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. It is possible that negotiations with the players are still ongoing.
Former Cloud9 roster:
Remco "Crystallis" Arets
Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko
Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin
Edgar "9Class" Naltakyan
Andrey "Dukalis" Kuropatkin
Recall that
Cloud9 previously disbanded a roster that lasted only 7 hours.
