Timur "Ahilles" Kulmukhambetov stated that two players in 1win's lineup got very sick the night before the Elite League Season 2 Grand Final, but despite the poor health of two players, the team was able to deliver a quality game.

The 1win coach made the relevant statement on his personal Telegram channel.

"Sincerely proud of my team. In every sense, the guys overcame themselves and fought with all their might.

Yesterday, two of our players got poisoned and vomited all night until the morning. With fever and throwing pills, went to fight against the liquid.

But even with such debuffs showed teeth and got a great final for the audience. Congrats to Liquid on their first trophy, and we're off to pack up for the hard journey.

Thanks for supporting and cheering us on. Int is ahead, keep our heads up!"

1win showed decent play throughout the Elite League Season 2 tournament held in Peru. The team placed third in the first round and second in the group stage. Prior to the playoffs, the team had only two losses in the tournament to Team Liquid and OG. In the playoffs, the team reached the grand finals through the top net, defeating Team Liquid in the match for the slot, but the winners of the tournament were able to get the second place in the deciding match and take revenge, because of which the 1win lineup ended up in second place.

Recall that yesterday also took place the grand finals of the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational, in which the victory went to Xtreme Gaming.
