Ludwig "Zai" Wåhlberg, manager of
Tundra Esports, began forming a new team roster even before the start of The International 2024.
This was revealed by Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon, a player for
Tundra Esports, during an interview at PGL Wallachia Season 2.
"Before The International, Zai talked to me about creating a new roster for the next season. Saksa came back, and they were discussing what would be best for him. I was one of the candidates"
According to Whitemon, Zai had already been discussing the formation of a new roster before TI13. It seems that the manager knew that Martin "Saksa" Sazdov would return to the team, and Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, along with Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, would leave the roster.
However, earlier reports suggested that the formation of the roster would be handled by Neta "33" Shapira, who returned to the team after the world championship.
