Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, former carry for Team Spirit, admitted that he became interested in the Valorant pro scene and plans to attend VALORANT Champions 2025.

The two-time world champion shared this in a message to his fans, posted on his Telegram channel.

"Wishing everyone the best, I'll be posting photos from my trips here. I want to check out Champions and see what tournaments are like in other disciplines. Best wishes to all"

The news about his interest in Valorant is not surprising, as he has praised the game multiple times, even saying that Riot Games' project is better than CS2. Moreover, he has already reached Diamond 1 rank in the game, placing him in the top 4% of players worldwide. In other words, if the esports player dedicates enough time to this discipline, he could even compete in Valorant's pro scene.

He also mentioned that he wants to check out tournaments in other disciplines, though he didn’t specify which games caught his attention. It's possible that he might attend CS2 tournaments as well, as he often streamed that game.

It’s also worth noting that Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov previously stated that Yatoro blames his teammates for Team Spirit defeat at The International 2024.
