Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the former carry of
Team Spirit, on the other hand, made it clear that rating is something that does not concern him in the last period and that if he had to, he would lose 2,000 MMR and not even consider it a problem.
He said it live on Twitch.
"I don’t give a – bleep – about MMR, I wouldn’t even bat an eye if I lost a thousand MMR points. Two thousand as well wouldn’t care"
He further pointed out that given a desperate situation, he would sacrifice his MMR losing up to 2000 MMR points if he needs to. He said this after losing a Dota 2 match intentionally so as this avoid a cheater on his team to gain points.
But, after leaving
Team Spirit, Yatoro first entered the 5 best players of the European Dota 2 rating, and has managed to slide to the 22nd. In support of Yatoro's statement that he was purely interested in the game of Dota2 without caring about the rating.
It should be mentioned that not so long ago Yatoro chose to take a loss on purpose and provided the rationale to the fans during one of his broadcasts.
