Xtreme Gaming may refuse to participate in the biggest tournament Riyadh Masters 2025. The reason was the unsuccessful performance of the team at DreamLeague Season 26 - the team could not overcome even the first group stage.
This was brought to the attention of the Telegram channel “Muesli Chinese”.
The situation was commented on by the founder of XG Yang “Yang” Yiqing. According to him, the team that failed such an important stage of the tournament should not represent the Chinese region on the international stage. Yang noted that XG's slot at the Riyadh Masters will likely go to AG Global.
In his statement, he also emotionally emphasized: “It is better to die in glory than to live in disgrace,” alluding to the past achievements of players who previously played for PSG.LGD.
Xtreme Gaming's current roster:
Wang “Ame” Chunyu
Guo “Xm” Hongcheng
Lin “Xxs” Jing
Zhao “XinQ” Zixing.
Wilson “Poloson” Koh.
Recall, earlier the organizers of the Riyadh Masters 2025 announced changes in the rules of the tournament.
