The worst hero of patch 7.38c has been named, losing more than half of the matches

Dazzle, as a hero, underwent the biggest nerf after patch 7.38c by losing almost 5% of his win rate, making him the worst hero in the game according to DotaBuff’s statistics.

Because of the large nerfs, the hero ends up with less than half of his matches won in Dota 2 matchmaking with an awful 49.21% winrate. Valve allowed Dazzle to still keep his Shadow Wave and Nothl Projection, but nerfed one of his talents. This clearly did a number on Dazzle’s strength.

Valve also managed to fix a glaring bug that allowed the hero to cheat his way to wins, which further fueled the decline in his pick rate.

When the patch released, the most overpowering heroes for the new meta already came out with patch 7.38c alongside Dota 2.
