When patch 7.41 for Dota 2 may release: Valve could be preparing a huge event

Patch 7.41 for Dota 2 may release between March 16 and March 27, as suggested by the activity on the game’s test servers.

It has already been more than two months since patch 7.40 was released and dataminers noticed heavy activity on the Dota test servers.

At the moment Valve has not officially announced the release date of the new update. However on the night of March 12 there were an unusual number of changes on the test servers. The special Dota 2 client received 14 updates in a row, which usually happens shortly before a big patch release.

Usually after such updates the new patch comes out within one or two weeks. If this pattern continues, patch 7.41 could appear sometime between March 16 and March 27.

There is also a chance the update could release earlier — around March 16–19. However, according to insiders Valve may be preparing a large PvE event, so the developers probably wont rush the release, and instead try to polish the content as much as possible.
