A wave of apologies to Crystallis began after his triumph at ESL One Bangkok 2024

The fans and esports communities have been sending out apologies to Remko “Crystallis” Arets following his recent stellar show at ESL One Bangkok 2024.

This has also led to numerous debates on the forums especially on Reddit.

A meme titled the “I’m Sorry Crystallis” meme has emerged with regards to this, where people can fill in a form which apologizes to the esports player. Earlier the fans accused him of not perfecting his craft in Dota 2, but as we can see they were all waiting for him to put on a show at ESL One Bangkok 2024.

While many were calling him a fraud, others were feeling bad for him since this mindset was dominating towards the region. Interestingly, pro-players and analysts have come forward to apologize to some of these players and in this case, they apologised to Crystallis. For example, Ahilles – Notable streamer on twitch noted that he was regretting his decision for scolding Crystallis about his gameplay style.

Suffice it say that some changes have occurred, for instance, the 1win coach via his telegram account stated that Crystallus is a genius and deserves a massive round of applause.

Crystallus’s comments about Klement ‘Puppey’ Ivanov stating that he does not want to associate himself with Ramzes666 do come as a shocker.
