Watson Reveals Who Helped Him Join Team Yandex's Dota 2 Roster

Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov stated that he joined Team Yandex’s Dota 2 roster thanks to Martin “Saksa” Sazdov.

The player’s statement was posted on Telegram.

"I didn't expect Team Yandex to be my most successful team.

I thought long and hard about whether to join Team Yandex or sit out the season. I had three offers from Tier 1 CIS organizations, but it didn't work out. At the last minute, Saksa messaged me. I was like, 'Oh, wow, Saksa wants to play with me.'

According to Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov, the player was unsure for a long time whether he should join Team Yandex. Moreover, he had several offers from other Tier-1 teams in the region. However, the player’s decision was influenced by a message from Martin “Saksa” Sazdov. Watson also admitted that he didn’t expect Team Yandex to achieve such high results.
