Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov believes that although the hero is not suitable for playing as a carry, as Reflection doesn't work against strengthed offlaners, the character performs well in the first position, because in this case he is up against heroes-“tricksters”, against whom his ability works more effectively.

“ Terrorblade doesn't work as a carry, but it works as an offlaner. That's because as a Terrorblade carry, you're up against strengthed offlaners and your Reflection doesn't work. And as an offlaner, you're up against heroes “tricksters” heroes, which Reflection kills. So yes, he's better on the third position.”
