Alimzhan 'watson' Islambekov believes that there is no point in training Anti-Mage hero in the current Dota 2 meta, as he is too weak to play effectively. The cyber athlete stated that the hero should be added to the pool only in case of reinforcement.

“Why should I train a dead hero? That's when he will at least revive a little..... When sapps don't have 3,500 HP with bars. Imagine, you jump on Anti-Mage to Tuskar, knock all the mana out of him, he has 3,000 HP left, and you deal zero demage to him. When you have BF and Manta, people will just buy Crimson and Pipe and go beat your builds.”
