Virtus.pro revealed the details of the new Dota 2 roster players selection

George “Dramer” Faleev said that Virtus.pro management considered many options for the new Dota 2 roster, and for each position in the roster the club was negotiating with at least five players.

The corresponding statement was made by the head of Dota 2 direction in Virtus.pro in an intreview to the Dota2 publishing house.

“Actually, since September there were a million variants of developments. Naturally, you always keep in your head not only plan A - you have plan B, plan C, plan D and so on. There were negotiations with 5-7 players for each position.”

Georgi “Dramer” Faleev also admitted that the idea to sign the Chimera Esports roster appeared right after the New Year, but then the cyber sports organization was unable to agree on favorable terms of player transfer. Nevertheless, negotiations resumed after the fourth place at DreamLeague Season 25.

“In the situation with Chimera, probably the first talks about it were right after the New Year. But then we somehow didn't agree with Chimera's management and came back to it after DreamLeague Season 25, when they took the top 4. But even there it was not clear until the end”.

Earlier, Rustam “Adekvat” Mavlyutov said that the results of the new Virtus.pro roster did not meet the original expectations of the organization.
