Valve released an update for Dota 2, which caused confusion among fans

The Dota 2 developers released a mini update for the game, finally fixing the use of Smoke Of Deceit from the stash, but leaving the bug with moving the smoke from the stash directly under the hero.

Details of the update were shared by Mark “Sikle” Lerman, analyst of Team Spirit, on his Telegram channel.

“Fixed a bug with Morphling, who permanently copied damage from stones when transforming into Earth Spirit.

Fixed a bug with Smoke of Deceit, which could be used directly from the fountain even if the hero was not nearby. That is you could literally use smoke from the stash even in the middle of the map. Another bug with moving the same smoke from the fountain, is not fixed.

The Forge Spirit ability was fixed for Ability Draft. Previously, when used the creep did not appear but mana was spent and the skill went on cooldown. The ability was simply forgotten to be adapted for this mode”

He said that the update fixed a bug with Morphling, which allowed the hero to significantly increase his attack, as well as a bug with Smoke Of Deceit that allowed it to be used from the stash. Fans were surprised that developers left an almost identical bug, allowing players to pull Smoke Of Deceit directly under their feet from the stash, even while being on the other side of the map.

Earlier, Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk named the most hated hero, that should be removed from Dota 2.
