Valve nerfed two of the strongest heroes in Dota 2 in patch 7.37b

Valve significantly nerfed Tinker and Ember Spirit in patch 7.37b for Dota 2, which were considered the strongest heroes in the previous gameplay update.

The developers increased the cooldowns of abilities, reduced the damage from Ember Spirit passive, and weakened two of his talents. The hero was considered highly versatile in matchmaking and extremely overpowered in battles.

Valve also addressed Tinker, as many players and esports professionals had requested a fix for the broken hero. The hero's healing from Repair Bots was significantly reduced, and mana costs were increased for two of his abilities, which should help balance him.
