Valve is set to announce a major Deadlock tournament at The International 2024, - Maelstorm

Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov believes that Valve might announce a major tournament for their new game, Deadlock, during The International 2024.

The Dota 2 commentator shared this in his Telegram channel.

“I’m almost certain that at TI VALVE will announce a major championship for Deadlock”

According to his predictions, despite the game still being officially unreleased, Valve might decide to announce a tournament for it. However, Maelstorm does not forecast when it will start. Opinions in the comments are divided; some believe the project is too raw for competitive events, while others recall that during the first International, Dota 2 was also in a rather unfinished state.

Nevertheless, Valve has not made any official statements about Deadlock tournaments yet. The game was only recently officially announced and is currently in the testing phase.
