Dota 2 fans are urging Valve to address the MMR spillover issue in matchmaking following a notable incident on Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev's stream, the offlaner for
Tundra Esports.
One Reddit user posted an appeal to Valve that included a video demonstrating what the problem was.
Concerning RAMZES666’s game, one of the participants intentionally sabotaged it. Many of them did say that if this isn’t confirmed as an MMR spill-over scheme, Valve should still punish griefers by banishing them from matches.
Some users thought that a 3-month ban would be enough for first time offenders while others felt like this punishment should rise to 6 months for another similar case.
There have been previous instances when people called on Valve to take action. Meanwhile, a petition has been raised through Reddit towards those who develop such video games.
