Trading MMR has become a global issue in Dota 2, with approximately one in five matches featuring players who manipulate the ranking system through loopholes.
Players are heavily complaining to Valve about the matchmaking problem on Reddit.
"MMR trading exists, and it needs to stop. Valve, when are you going to take action? Every fifth game contains duo groups deliberately trying to end up on different teams. One player always pretends to play and then immediately gives away the first kill.
This has been going on for quite some time, but people have started using double MMR boost tokens to exacerbate the issue.
When is Valve going to do something about it? We need a solution, as Valve is not taking any action"
In the comments, players supported the appeal to Valve, noting that there are indeed many users in matchmaking who are inflating their MMR using loopholes in the double rating tokens system.

It is possible that Valve may soon respond to the situation, and a wave of bans could hit players who have used dirty tactics to boost their MMR.
Recall that earlier, a Tundra Esports player admitted to using bugs to boost their MMR in Dota 2.
