Valve announced a contest with a $25,000 prize pool

Valve has launched their traditional Dota 2 short video contest - with a total prize pool of $25,000. The best entries will once again be shown to viewers around the world during The International 2025 broadcast.

Fans are invited to create a video of no more than 90 seconds and publish it in the Dota 2 Workshop by 1:00 (Moscow time) on August 18, 2025. Based on the results of voting and discussions in the workshop, the developers will select ten finalists, whose videos will be included in a special vote inside the game client. The winners will be announced during TI.
The prize pool will be distributed as follows:
1st place - $25,000
2nd place - $10,000
3rd place - $5,000
The remaining 7 finalists - $500 each.
