During the Esports World Cup 2025 tournament, Alexander “Torontotokyo” Hertek played chess against his Aurora teammates alongside renowned grandmaster Jan “Frostnova” Nepomnyashchy. The duo emerged victorious.

The game was played in Hand and Brain format, where one player is blindfolded. The blindfold was on Jan “Frostnova” Nepomnyashchiy's face, and Alexander “Torontotokyo” Hertek moved the pieces on the board based on his partner's prompts. After the victory of the TORONTOTOKYO and Frostnova duo, all participants left their autographs on the chessboard.
