Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, midlaner for
Tundra Esports, has unexpectedly started picking
Magnus in Dota 2 matchmaking during The International 2024. Magnus is known as a signature hero of Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov.
Data from the Dota2ProTracker portal shows that the two-time world champion has played
Magnus in 12 matches over the past week. However, the hero's performance has been inconsistent, with a win rate of 50%, meaning Topson has won half of his games. It seems the esports player is experimenting with different builds.

It's worth noting that before
Team Spirit elimination from TI13, Collapse was also actively practicing
Magnus, likely preparing to showcase the hero at the tournament. However, Magnus did not make a grand return at The International. There is a possibility that Topson might surprise opponents by picking the hero in the tournament's final.
Earlier, Topson named the most overpowered hero that surpasses the entire Dota 2 meta.
