Thour said when the fourth Premier season in CS2 will start

Thour a well known dataminer stated that the fourth Premier season in CS2 may start as early as January 21.

He wrote about this on his page on X.

“Update with the 1st season — Wednesday September 27 2023

Update with the 2nd season — Wednesday January 29 2025

Update with the 3rd season — Wednesday July 16 2025

According to this sequence the update with the 4th season should be released on Wednesday January 21 2026”

The dataminer found patterns in the updates of the competitive mode. According to his observations each season started exactly on Wednesday after the end of the previous one. If we rely on this then the most likely start date is January 21 which falls on Wednesday.

Nevertheless the season should indeed start very soon since before the launch of Premier the developers limited access to the competitive mode
