Duncan “Thorin” Shields believes that the current CS2 pro scene season will determine Alexander “S1mple” Kostylev’s future prospects.

The analyst shared his opinion on Telegram.

“This season will be the real test for him. If he doesn’t prove himself now, then it’s time to call it quits.

Either S1mple is just an old legend who didn’t care about CS 2, or he was unlucky with his team, or he lacked the right mindset. This season will put an end to the drama surrounding him. S1mple will either never return to the top, or he’ll show clear signs that he’s becoming a top-10-level player again.”

According to Duncan “Thorin” Shields, it’s currently difficult to pinpoint the cause of BC.Game’s previous failures, as they could be related to either the rest of the team or issues with Alexander “S1mple” Kostylev, around whom the roster was built. The analyst believes that this season will show whether S1mple can return to the top 10 players on the pro scene.
