Vladislav Kuzmenko stated that their early exit from the DreamLeague Season 28 Dota 2 tournament helped the team prepare more thoroughly for PGL Wallachia Season 7.
The
Team Yandex head shared this in an exclusive comment for CyberMeta.
“Victories are never easy to come by, but we approached this tournament as prepared as possible—the team was in excellent form. We managed to turn our early exit from DreamLeague into a positive: we focused on teamwork and addressed our weaknesses. I think the result speaks for itself.”
According to Vladislav Kuzmenko, the defeat gave the team time to work on its weaknesses. The head of the esports organization noted that thanks to thorough preparation, the team was able to defeat
Team Liquid — whom he considers quite dangerous opponents — in the grand final of PGL Wallachia Season 7.
“Overall, we played against Liquid—right now they’re one of the strongest teams, if not the strongest. So it’s quite expected that they wouldn’t have lost to us just like that. On these maps, we made a few more mistakes than we could afford against such an opponent—hence the intriguing score heading into the final map.”

Team Yandex’s ranking in the Dota 2 team standings.
