Team Spirit’s captain shared his honest thoughts on the team’s elimination from BLAST Slam 3

Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidyonov, the captain of Team Spirit, admitted that the main reason for the team's departure from the BLAST Slam 3 tournament was insufficient preparation for the match against Team Falcons.

The two-time Dota 2 world champion said this in an address to fans in the club's Telegram channel.

“Unfortunately, we lost to Falcons with a score of 0:2. To summarize: I think the lack of an idea from me personally was the problem. By this match I lacked the understanding of how to play better, the conceptual thread was lost. In my opinion, this was the key point in the defeat. We made conclusions, we have already discussed some things. In any case, we still have a lot to play for. Thank you for the support”

Miposhka said the team didn't have a clear plan on how to proceed against Team Falcons. According to him, Team Spirit lost the conceptual thread, and that was one of the main reasons why they were eliminated from the tournament. The captain admitted that a large part of the responsibility for this result lies with him.

Nevertheless, he added that the team has already made conclusions and will work on the mistakes to avoid this in the future.
