Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, Team Spirit manager, explained that Valve is unlikely to release a radically new Battle Pass 2025, as the developers' approach hasn't changed in the last two years. Whether there will be new content in it, it will be possible to judge only after the qualifications for The International 2025, he said.

Korb3n shared such information during a stream on Twitch.

“What makes anyone think there will be a Battle Pass this year? Valve usually asks for content under the standard Battle Pass that it has been producing for the last two years. You could buy team packs. You could, couldn't you? I don't remember.

I mean, they ask teams to record voiceovers beforehand, something like that. I haven't asked yet, I don't have any information yet that Valve has sent some sort of request about it. I'll have to remember when she asked to do that last year”

The manager is surprised that information has started to circulate that the Battle Pass 2025 in Dota 2 will be different from previous Compendiums. According to him, if Valve doesn't reach out to teams after World Championship qualifying, it could be a signal that the Battle Pass will actually surprise players.

“That was back in June, yeah... Anyway, after the qualifications for TI, when everyone qualifies - if such a request comes, then Battle Pass won't change. If it doesn't, then we can talk about something”

Korb3n noted that details about Battle Pass 2025 will appear, most likely, in the summer, after the completion of qualifications, but so far there are no hints of innovations.

Recall that earlier the manager of Team Spirit explained why teams refuse to play at DreamLeague 26.
