The captain of Team Spirit surprised with a statement about the team's condition

Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov, captain of Team Spirit, admitted that the squad doesn't really understand the current 7.38c patch meta, but has a few of his own strategies for heroes.

The two-time Dota 2 World Champion revealed this in a post-match interview at ESL One Raleigh 2025.

“I wouldn't say we understand meta right now, but we definitely have some ideas on heroes. We've changed our approach a little bit on drafts and what heroes we want to play against. It depends on who you're playing against: every opponent has a different playstyle, different heroes, different ideas, you constantly have to adapt. We're constantly thinking about what the opponent can take and how we can respond to that, whether we'll be comfortable with that pick”

He said Team Spirit have changed their approach to drafts, though they are not fully versed in the current meta. Nevertheless, the squad is trying to deal with their main problem - drafts and building new strategies for heroes.
