Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov said Valve should consider adding an option in Dota 2 which permits players to talk with other players across the teams using a voice all-chat feature...but for a fee.
He explained this during a Twitch stream.
“Honestly, I want Gabe to enable all-chat audio feature where players can talk. Just pay him 15 cents and the opposing team can hear you on all chat”
Korb3n suggested that charging a minimal amount for the option would create hilarious moments during the matches.
Fans also pointed out that the concept is actually fun and some even noted that a certain variation of this existed in LoL far back. In that MOBA, there was a very brief window when players were able to talk to their opponents for ten seconds before the Nexus was destroyed.
The
Team Spirit manager has earlier astonished fans when outwardly discussing Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev’s friend, claiming that this was not satire.
