Team Spirit's manager surprised everyone with a statement about RAMZES666's friend, clarifying that it is not a joke

The manager of Team Spirit, Dmitry ‘Korb3n’ Belov has openly stated that he made an offer for the coaching position to Andrey “Afoninje” Afonin, but he most probably turned it down.

He made this revelation on a Twitch stream.

“Did you guys know that Afoninje could have been the coach of Team Spirit? I’m not joking here. In fact, we even held a discussion regarding that. I think I called him in 2020. It’s a wild thought but Afoninje could have been our coach based on the roster that was there which the Yellow Submarine was. We were not really aligned on many points and I don’t quite remember everything”

Korb3n said. Korb3n did say that at that point of time, they were of the opinion that the friend of Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev was giving definite thoughts towards a more definitive coaching position since the team was in a split decision with three choices and ultimately, Ganis Ayrat “Silent” Aziev was the one that Ts picked and still is a retained member of that roster.

Afoninje has not provided statement regarding this unusual linkage to the two-time Dota 2 world champions team in his which might seem out of character for him.
