Nikita “Panto” Balaganin said he is satisfied with Team Spirit progress despite their elimination from FISSURE Playground 2, and believes the roster just needs more time to build synergy, though he admits some maps were really dissapointing.

The new captain shared his thoughts about the team’s elimination in a new video on the club’s YouTube channel.

“I’m happy with the team’s progress — a lot of things we discussed and couldn’t do before, now we started to do better. Only a couple maps we lost on this tournament without chances — those were the ones where we drafted bad. And the games where drafts were equal or better — we won them. Except that third map vs Falcons. The guys are trying, interacting with each other, everything is great. And the tournament itself was good — nice hotel, close to the place we play”

The player noted that in a few games the drafts were weak, but there were also matches where players just didn’t perform at their best. He explained that the team needs time, and for now they take losses as lessons to learn from.

“As it usually happens — you lose, and at first you’re covered by only negative emotions, but later you start analyzing, thinking and realize that Rome wasn’t built in a day. I hope that the losses at the start of the season will lead us to future victories. And eventually to wins on the biggest tournaments. So we’re working hard, not getting upset”

Earlier, Korb3n explained the reason why Team Spirit didn’t plan to sign Malr1ne.
