Team Spirit manager names players who could replace Larl at The International

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov said that Team Spirit considered Marat “Mirele” Gazetdinov and Rostislav ‘fn’ Lozovoy as candidates to replace Denis “Larl” Sigitov at The International 2025.

The Team Spirit manager shared this information on Twitch.

“Only two mid laners were considered: Fn and Mirele. On one day, a third player was considered because Fn was unavailable, but there was only one map. Otherwise, only those two were considered.”

According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the team was mainly betting on Marat ‘Mirele’ Gazetdinov, but he sometimes had to miss training because of Yellow Submarine matches, so Rostislav “fn” Lozovoy replaced him. Moreover, the Team Spirit manager noted that Mirele replaced Denis “Larl” Sigitov for two days, even when it became known that the main player was recovering and would be able to play at TI14, but was not feeling well enough to train with the team.

When Larl was discharged, he couldn't play on the first day because he wasn't feeling well, and on the second day too, I think. And even after he was discharged, knowing that we would be playing with Dan at The International, we played with Mirele for two more days.
